Vicki Aresca

Hi, my name is Vicki Aresca, the founder of Meditation Works Melbourne. I am a meditation specialist, experienced yoga instructor and fitness coach. Having worked in this field for the past 10 years, I started out as a nutrition and exercise coach for Healthscope, a rehabilitation centre for people with Acquired Brain Injuries. I then moved on to pursue teaching yoga and meditation, focusing on meditation for better health and wellbeing. I take a holistic approach toward overall health and conscientiously follow an organic lifestyle. My personal experiences with food allergies and intolerances have led me to work very closely with alternative therapists, expanding my wealth of knowledge on natural health, cleansing diets and stress management. My deepest passion is to inspire people to relinquish the limitations they place on themselves and make a conscious effort to improve the quality of their lives.

Workplace training and sessions

We offer workplace training, adapting course content to meet individual requirements. We also provide ongoing meditation sessions which will assist employees to maximise productivity through a variety of benefits such as better health, increased energy, reduced stress and clarity of mind. Our corporate clients have reported a marginal improvement in work relationships, productivity and communication, as well as a significant decrease in absences from work. Industries

We service the education industry by teaching meditation in schools so that both students and teachers develop skills that will help them reduce stress quickly and effectively, promoting improved concentration and memory. Students who once faced difficulties with studying and retaining information have greatly benefited from our meditation sessions, vastly improving their grades.

We work closely with special service groups such as defence, medical, rehabilitation and financial institutions, providing them with a much needed avenue for stress relief. Employees learn strategies to help them cope more effectively with the great demands and responsibilities associated with their daily jobs, delivering optimum performance under pressure.

Courses and workshops

We facilitate courses and workshops throughout Melbourne and the northern suburbs. The courses are divided into Beginner and Intermediate levels. The Beginner’s Course is designed to give you a better understanding of how meditation works and how it can benefit you. You will learn a variety of simple techniques that you can easily integrate into your daily life. The Intermediate Course will encourage you to explore an even deeper understanding of yourself through higher awareness and mindfulness, complementing your core practices with these valuable skills. The Workshops run for 2 hours and focus specifically on a particular issue. They are ideal for anyone who is new to meditation or may be interested in learning more about the topic at hand.

Private sessions

Private sessions are available for those who prefer a one-on-one service or would like to focus on a specific issue. These can be held at your home, workplace or other agreed venue.
